Terroir

Located on the hillsides facing the Dentelles de Montmirail, this vineyard is planted on Jurassic grey soils, mainly composed of black marl rich in silt, clay and sand. Thanks to the Dentelles' natural protection from the mistral, these plots benefit from optimal sunshine, ensuring even ripening of the grapes.

Grape varieties

50% Grenache, 50% Syrah

Ageing

The wine is aged for 12 months in vats, followed by a further 12 months in bottle to perfect its balance and develop its aromas.

Tasting notes

Its aromas suggest a generous basket of ripe red fruit and a touch of violet. On the palate, its freshness and mineral notes give it a vibrant vivacity, while its full-bodied tannic structure will appeal to lovers of powerful, complex wines.

Served between 16 and 18°C, this wine is a perfect match for roasted red meats, dishes in sauce or mature cheeses.
