We are delighted to share some great news from the pages of Wine Enthusiast: two of our wines from Domaine des Garances have recently been reviewed by Anna-Christina Cabrales, editor at Wine Enthusiast.

🍷 93/100 – Alazard 2024

🍷 92/100 – Le Jas du Chêne 2023

Our Alazard 2024 received an excellent score of 93 points.

"Dense and generous on the nose, with washed Morello cherry, fig paste, anise seed, wild thyme, and warm stone. The palate is textured and rich, like biting into a prune, with fresh acidity and a light sweet spice finish that adds depth and length. Lovely with a slow-braised lamb shoulder or duck confit. " Anna-Christina Cabrales

Our Le Jas du Chêne 2023 was awarded 92 points.

"A nice layer of charcuterie and violet overlays a dense aromatic core of blackberry compote on the nose. Medium-bodied and silky in texture, the palate delivers plum and sweet spice, closing on a fine clay finish. Charmingly fruit forward and enjoyable now, best enjoyed with a southern French charcuterie board. " Anna-Christina Cabrales

These two scores are a great recognition of the work carried out year after year at Domaine des Garances. They also highlight two different expressions of our wines: the richness and depth of Alazard, alongside the silky, fruit-driven character of Le Jas du Chêne.

We are particularly pleased to see these cuvées appreciated for what we strive to achieve with every vintage: generous, expressive and balanced wines, made to be enjoyed around the table and shared with others.

A heartfelt thank you to Anna-Christina Cabrales and Wine Enthusiast for these wonderful reviews.
